Hello again.  It has been several weeks since my last post, and I’m here to confirm that I am, in fact, still alive.  I’ve been buried in editing and a few personal endeavors as well.  Starting this week, I’m back on the horse with respect to blogging, and I’ve got a new plan for tackling the blogs as well.  This one may be short, but that’s ok – we’ll get back to my old projects soon enough.

I’ll once again be opining on character types and the tropes surrounding them.  Currently, I’m also planning to add in new monthly topics which will rotate every week.  Over the last few years, I’ve grown my collection of board games.  The first week of the month, I’ll be picking one from my shelf and doing a review/summary.  As a writer and also film dork, I’ll take the second week to review a book or movie (possibly TV shows could work their way in that list).  Tentatively, the third week will be a collaborative effort with an internet acquaintance.  We’ll do a random roll and pick from a chart of tabletop RPGs then go through character generation for that system and discuss the insanity that you can find in traditional RPGs.  Finally, the fourth week will be flash fiction.  I’ll take a writing prompt and turn it into a short piece of fiction to throw on the blog.

As for the serious work, Possessing Redemption is coming along.  I’m happy with the progress it’s making.  Slowly but surely, it is taking a more polished and powerful form.  I can’t speak to a release time frame yet; the novel is still a bit too rough to predict that.  However, you’ll be the first to know when it comes!  All that being said, editing is ongoing.
